Connect an AI assistant

Link ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant to Billion Habit so it can read your focus day, non-negotiables, run sheet and portfolio scan. You sign in and approve access the first time it connects.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Connectors → Advanced and turn on Developer mode, noting the risk warning shown there. If it isn’t available, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the New plugin dialog.
  3. Paste Billion Habit as the name and the server URL above into the URL field.
  4. Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this for every custom server), then click Create.
  5. Enable Billion Habit from the chat composer and ask ChatGPT to use it.

Connect Claude

  1. Open the prefilled custom connector dialog.
  2. Review the name and URL, then click Add.
  3. If the prefilled form doesn’t open, go to Claude’s Connectors page, choose “Add custom connector”, name it Billion Habit and paste the URL above.
  4. Enable the connector from the chat composer and ask Claude to use it.

Connect Claude Code

  1. Run the command above in a terminal.
  2. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Billion Habit is connected, signing in from that menu when prompted.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use Billion Habit.

Other assistants

  1. Open the client’s MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name it Billion Habit and paste the server URL above.
  4. Finish the sign-in and approval prompts.
  5. Enable the connection and ask the assistant to use it.

Refresh after changes

Assistants cache the tool list, so refresh the connection after this app changes.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT’s Plugins page and select Billion Habit.
  2. Scroll to “Information” and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT can’t change an existing URL - if it changed, delete the plugin and connect again with the latest URL.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use Billion Habit.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. Refresh or update its tools.
  3. Claude can’t change an existing connector’s URL - if it changed, remove it and connect again.
  4. Ask Claude to use Billion Habit.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session - it loads the latest tools on connect.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove billion-habit then run the install command again.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use Billion Habit.

Other assistants

  1. Open the client’s MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection created for Billion Habit.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use it.
